-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Racks Unlimited is listed with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission. I am a life member of the North American Hunting Club. I am 44 yrs. old and enjoy hunting with my clients as well, my best Pope and young animal scores 140 2/8" and field dressed 235 lbs. The best of my firearm bucks scores 159", with eight more on the wall scoring over 140". Needless to say my reputation in Northeast Nebraska for hunting Whitetail Deer and Turkey speaks for itself. I love to hunt and love to teach other people to hunt also. I specialize in calling both Deer and Turkey and can furnish numerous references upon your request. We are happy to help men and woman, young or old, and can help handicapped hunters experience their hunt of a lifetime. We are a small successful hunting camp and since originating in 1993 we are 100% on our guided Deer and Turkey hunts. We are located within 5-10 miles of our Deer and Turkey hunting sites and the Pheasant hunting is just out our back door. We feature food and lodging on site for a limited number of reserved clients. North American Hunting Club (NAHC) members receive and additional 25% discount off a total hunt package. Please Contact Us with any questions and/or comments. At this point I would like to thank you for your interest in a Nebraska hunt, and would like to invite you to browse through our Thumbnail Photos, where our photos put our money where our mouth is. Sincerely, Scott R. Urbanec -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Whitetails and Turkeys (Both Eastern and Merriam) are generally pretty big. It is very common to score on a 20 lb., 9" Beard Turkey or a 125-150", 175-235 lb. field dressed Whitetail. The Pheasant population has also become an added benefit to your hunting trip, adding the possibility to bag your limit of birds while deer hunting (Season Permitting).
The terrain here can be described as hilly farmland with rolling hardwood bluffs of oaks, ash, walnuts and basswoods that descend to the flat river bottoms nestled along the west side of the Missouri river. The Deer and Turkey have quite a food supply, varying from acorns to corn, soybeans, and alfalfa, which provides for some pretty tasty game. There are many different types of hunting in our areas, varying from ground blinds, tree stands, swamp hunting and CRP hunting, which has provided some excellent trophies. Some of Nebraska's best bird dogs are available upon your request to make your Pheasant hunt a memorable one. Personally, we own 270 acres of farmland which is reserved exclusively for my clients, with wild Ringneck Pheasant in abundance. We also have purchased 160 acres of timber located within one half mile of the Missouri River, which is consistently producing trophy Deer and Turkey. Some of these have included a 216" Non-typical in 1993 and a 24 1/2 lb., 10 1/2" Beard Merriam in the spring of 1997. Access is available to over 10,000 acres of private, public, and tribal grounds, (with appropriate Tags). Bowhunters may obtain state Tags through the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in Lincoln, NE for both Deer and Turkey. Application periods and season dates can be obtained by contacting the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission @ (402) 471-0641 or check out their Website @ http://www.ngpc.state.ne.us. Non-resident firearm Deer hunters and shotgun Turkey hunters now can obtain a state Tag due to the addition of unlimited turkey tags and statewide buck tags, which were not available until 2006. Now Non-residents can enjoy trophy firearm buck hunts in the Elkhorn area as residents have been doing for years. Muzzleloader permits are unlimited as well. Walthill , NE. is located on the Omaha Indian Reservation which also has Deer and Turkey Tags available though the Omaha Tribe Wildlife and Parks Office. Their address is P.O. Box 399, Macy, Nebraska 68039, Phone #: (402) 837-4389.Or visit their website @ www.rezhunter.com. These Tags usually become available in January of each year.
